Several initiatives have been funded through National Partnerships to support the diverse learning needs of our school community at Fairfield High. The initiatives cater for students across all years, supporting student and parent engagement and learning enrichment.

Below is a snapshot of some of the initiatives currently running in our school.

Senior Learning Space 

The SLS has been established in E Block to support our Yr 12s. Students have access to computers and printing and may seek the assistance of the adjacent National Partnerships staff.

HSC Work Skills Course 

Work skills students have been exposed to trade tasters in the following courses - Bricklaying, Floristry, Beauty and Nails, Hairdressing and Light Motor Mechanics.

Sydney University Compass Program

A dynamic partnership between FHS and Syd Uni. Students staff and parents are currently involved in learning enrichments activities facilitated by Engineering, Science, History, English, Medicine faculties at Syd Uni.

Parent Cafe

Parents and community members meet on a regular basis. Topics coverved include assisting your child at school, community services and devloping ICT skills.
